The Future Self January Challenge is back for its 3rd annual year, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Running from January 2nd to January 31st, this month-long challenge is designed to help us all become stronger, healthier, and more empowered versions of ourselves—building habits and routines that can transform the entire year ahead. Here’s how it works: Every day, you’ll commit to a few tasks: 1.) 45 minutes of movement—whether it’s a brisk walk, yoga session, weightlifting, a boxing class, or a run—just move your body and aim to break a sweat. 2.) You’ll also read 10 pages of any book (audiobooks count too!) to exercise your mind and fuel personal growth. Build this into your daily routine. Maybe you read 10 pages in bed after you brush your teeth. Or maybe you read 10 pages in the morning while you make your morning coffee. Build it into your day! 3.) Beyond that, this month is about expanding your horizons: You’ll work toward acquiring a new skill or trying something you’ve never done before—be it learning to cook, skiing, picking up a new language, or volunteering. You don't need to master this new skill, the idea is to try something you have never done before and have fun in the process. 4. Finally, the ultimate reset: No alcohol for the entire month. Cutting out booze means better sleep, more energy, improved mental clarity, and a sharper, more patient you. Together, we’ll push ourselves to grow and build a foundation of healthy habits that will last long after January ends. Let’s make this the best year of your life.
